About Us

    Instructors April and Kate Zimbleman opened the Liberty Irish Dance Academy in July of 2003.  Liberty has continued to grow since then! All of our instructors are enthusiastic about sharing their love of Irish dance, teaching Irish dancers to be one step ahead.  They are patient and encouraging teachers.  Click on the photo to see a larger image.

April Zimbleman - Champion Irish dancer for 10 years.  She has held several local and regional titles including 3rd in the Junior ladies western regional championships 1999.  She has qualified and competed at the National level successfully several times, as well as dancing at the World Irish Dance Championships in 2000 and 2002.
   

Kate Zimbleman - Champion Irish dancer for 10 years.  She has held several local and regional titles including 3rd in the under 16 Western Regional Championships in 2001.  She has qualified and competed successfully at the National level several times, as well as dancing in the World Irish Dance Championships in 2002.
